AITA HISTORY

America's Independent Trucker's Association, Inc was founded in 1997 by Larry Daniel with the idea that the owner operator and small to medium sized fleets deserved fleet pricing as much as, if not more than, the large fleets. Larry started AITA with the simple goal of developing a program that would level the playing field for smaller operations in an attempt to make them more profitable.

In a period of 3 years the association grew and was incorporated in May of 2000. Over the years vendor relationships have been formed to give the most comprehensive listing of products and services for the transportation industry in one location.

Currently AITA offers access to a wide variety of products, services and information tailored to the transportation, construction and agricultural industries such as heavy duty replacement parts, commercial tire program, load board, freight factoring, insurance designed specifically for the transportation industry, sample CDL tests, and locator services for some of our vendor partners. We serve over 40,000 members and are growing daily.
