A When you need to stop to look at a map.
B When you need to get out and stretch your legs.

2. If red is reflected back from pavement markings you are going?
A In the right direction on the freeway.
B To be coming to the end of the freeway.
C In the wrong direction on the freeway.

3. When entering the freeway your best strategy is to?
A Try to keep your speed low.
B Merge at or close to the speed of traffic on the freeway.
C Stop until there is a spot to enter.

4. When preparing to turn left how should you keep your wheels pointing?
A To the left.
B To the right.
C Straight ahead

5. What is the best tactic to use before crossing an intersection?
A Look right - then left - then right again.
B Look left - then right - then left again.
C Look to the rear - then ahead and then to the rear again.

6. What is a yield sign?
A A yield sign tells you to stop.
B A yield sign tells you to slow down and be ready to stop.
C A yield sign tells you to slow down to ten miles per hour.

7. How should an intersection with flashing red lights be treated?
A As if it was controlled by stop signs.
B As if it was a two-way intersection.
